Flourishes - Poppies & Aussie Blooms

Today I have made a couple of cards using Florishes Stamps, the first one is using the Poppies, I stamped on to X-Press It Blending card, and coloured with my Copic's Poppy R21,R24,R27,R29 Leaves G43,YG67 Background B00 I used the Cut feature on my Silhouette Cameo to cut some extra Poppies and Leaves, some I used to mask and stampt extra Poppies and Leaves and some I coloured and attached with dimensional adhesive, you can't really see in the pictures but it is actually 3D. I inked the edge with Tim Holtz Stormy Sky and and matted it using white and black bazzil, the DP is from my stash and I distressed the edges and inked them then I stamped that with a 'Happy Birthday' stamp, I have not used any other embellishments as thought the Poppies were enough. The other card is an experiment lol, I used the Image from Flourishes -Bloomin Aussie Florals and instead of using Ink I used White embossing Powder on X-Press It Blending card, then colored with my Copic's and then I used my Copic Blending Pen O, to gently blend every thing and it take the colour off of the embossing, found this a very relaxing and easy technique and love the water colour effect, going to try this again for sure :) Keeping it simple I just matted it on to Kraft cardstock. Cheers Sue ,

Party Hardy from Saturated Canary

Hope you are all well, and had a good weekend. Busy day for me today, its my Dad'd birthday. My Wedding Anniversary and our granddaughter Malia is 5 years old today :)I didn't have to make the cards as I have a box of ready made ones lol. But I did make a card for the fun of it, love this image from Saturated Canary, 'Party Hardy' she is gorgeous! I cut her out using the Trace feature on my Silhouette Cameo, love that feature makes things so much easier. The Black Frame around her is also cut with the Silhoutte and I used the Rolled Flowers from the Silhoutte Store to make the Black/White flowers. The Swirls and bling flower in top left are from Bo Bunny, the Red Roses are from Bizzy Bec's, and the Hearts are actually Ceramic and they were white but I coloured them with my Copic's (R29), I got those from Scrappy-go-Lucky. The DP isfrom my stash (Kaisercraft I think). Playing with some Flourish Stamps and the digi file to cut them for the Silhouette so will be back tomorrow with a pic for you. Take care all. Cheers Sue

The border, swirl and background flower are my Doohickeys from Magnolia that I purchased awhile back from Bizzy Bec's, the flowers are also from Bizzy Bec's, and the DP is from my stash and I can't remember whats its called, but its a 6x6 paper pad., and I used a Kaiser swirl stamps for around the image. 'Anything Goes' for Bizzy Bec Challenge

I have entered this card in Bizzy Bec's Challenge for March, which is 'Anything Goes'. I have made a double fold card using a Magnolia Tilda Image, coloured with my Copic's. the background behind Tilda is also from Magnolia 'Romantic Window', which I left plain except for some stickles as my DP is so busy. The DP is lovely and glittery and is Up Up Away from First Addition, the pearly bits are from Bizzy Bec's on-line store, the lillies are from my stash and the other flowers are all handmade by me using my Silhouette Cameo -rolled Flowers, the border and some swirls, and a brad, also from my stash. The design team over at Bizzy Bec's have some done a great job with theirs, definately inspiring. Cheers Sue

Saturated Canary Image 'Party Hardy

Well thought it was about time I starting posting again in my Spot, it has been very neglected these past few months, and I haven't even had time to visit other blogs or enter Challenges, just don't know where the time is going. A lot has happened during the past few months, a new grandson Xavier who is now 7 weeks. Don't know if I have been missed on here though lol. I have fallen for Saturated Canary Digi images, they are so cute, and with my new Silhouette Cameo it even allows me to cut them out (sometimes lol). Love this 'Party Hardy' image she is so cute and just gorgeous to colour, which I have done with my Copic's, the DP was a perfect match (have forgotten what its called:)

Yes I know all with Magnolia Tilda's, lol, I so love using my Copic's on these girls! I got a new Silhouette Cameo from my darling husband, Rick for christmas, so I will post some creations from that on here too, as well as Jewelry on my 'Dragonfly Magic' Blog. I have a new Grandson arriving next Tuesday 15th January, so excited about him. My daughter Amanda is being induced on Tuesday, and I will be there, with her husband Johnny for the birthm so it will be both exciting and nerve racking at the same time. Amanda and Johhny have 3 girls already and Amanda's births are quite dramatic, and as some of you would know, Amanda also has HAE, so she has the best of care at King Edward Hospital in Perth.... so stay tuned. Some more of my bracelets.

My Auminum Bracelets custom made.

Hi All, have you missed me lol. I have been so busy of late, I'm still card making and using my Copic's but I have been making all sorts of Bracelets, I will post more pics and show you what I have been doing. My grand-daughters all have slightly diffirent names so you just can't go into a shop and get things with their names on, so I'm doing my own, and I have had so many queries after putting them on Facebook and the kids wearing their Bracelets, that I have been taking orders. I have also been making the Bedaded Chan Luu style bracelets and some with charms, and dog tags on ball chain....lots and lots of ideas, my poor husband...lol, luckily he is very supportive, havbe been getting him to help with packaging as I have been so busy. Anyway hope you like. Have a GREAT weekend LL. HUGS ALWAYS Sue XO

My Canvas and an update.

As many of you know I have been a part of Bizzy Bec's Design Team for a long time, sadly I decided to resign from the team as I felt I was not contributing enough and there just seem to be something going on in my life all the time, I sometimes feel like I have no mojo lol. Also I have become really interested in Mixed Media, after I did a class with the very talented Donna Downey, when she did a class at my LSS, Made with Memories, so my card making has been less. I will of course continue to visit Bec and the team. Well, it's a lovely sunny day here in WA, we are having sunny days but cold nights. I have been ill for just over a week, started with a dreadful sore throat, then went onto become a head cold then the flu, still feeling rough, yesterday was better then today, I seem to take 2 steps forward and 1 step back. But I shouldn't complain there are a lot of people that are going through worse then me! I also had a friend lose her husband to cancer, he was only 40yrs old, they were childhood sweethearts with 2 children, I can't put in words how sad I'am for them all. On a happy note I have a dear friend who is 10 wks pregnant with twins, unfortunately there was triplets but one didn't make it. Melanie an Daniel are the lovliest couple and they lost thier first daughter 18 years ago when she was born 19 weeks prematurely, so we are all hoping and praying for a safe pregnancy and birth. We have also had Ricks parents who live in Geraldton, come down for a few days as my father-in-law has put together a Cat run for Marley and Bronson, unfortunatly my mother-in-law stayed with her daughter as she did not want to catch my bugs (don't blame her lol), and my Father-in-law just came during the day to get the cat run up with Rick's help, he kept a wide berth from me too lol. So Marley and Bronson had their first taste of the outdoors, they were very inquisitive for awhile and then cried to come back in lol. It's not finished yet as we want to pave over the dirt, and put some ledges an toys and an waterproof area, but at least they can get out for some fresh air, and I can chuck them out when they decide to chase each other an I end up with hair all over the house hehehe. Ok chatted enough, hope you are all well. hugs Sue
And if you read all of that THANK YOU lol xo
